Programming
The final (well, minus the occasional last-second, at-con changes) program schedule for Con*Stellation XXX is ready. Check out this updated version (PDF file) using the link in the righthand column—or keep reading to get just the basics.
On-site registration opens at Noon on Friday, September 16th, and closes for general operation at approximately 3pm on Sunday, September 18th. The Art Show and the Dealers Room will open at 2pm Friday and both will have hours posted for all three days of the con. Gaming will start around that same time, with space for both open gaming and scheduled/tournament games.
Programming will begin at 5pm Friday—with an Opening Ceremony at 6:30pm. You won't want to miss the Meet the Guest reception Friday evening and there will be lots to go to through the end of the last program at 3pm Sunday. There will be a Dead Dog party (no actual dogs will be harmed in the production of this event ;-) later that evening after we have the Art Show, tables, and other con equipment back in storage.
Special Program Note: Con*Stellation is getting a scoop. Travis Taylor will be showing an episode of his upcoming TV show Rocket City Rednecks. RCR premieres on the National Geographic Channel September 28, 2011—almost two weeks after the con—so you can steal a march on the general public.
